After so long I've basically had enough. The ads have made it virtually unusable. It might be because I took off my phone case, which would still be dumb, but the X on ads just takes me to the app store, and when I come back from the app store, the chat I clicked on is gone, which is just great if I found a good chat I saw and didn't remember the name, since it doesn't save the chat if you click on it and get sent to the app store. The UI is getting worse and not as good as it's used to be.
Editing my initial rating since the new update. I think the ads are too much. Before the new update, I thought the ads were tame enough to handle. It was just an occasional ad here and there, but ever since the new update, I've been getting nothing but ads after a few attempts to send a reply to the conversation I'm having. The fact that there used to be no ads is something I miss dearly, and even the occasional ads were tame enough to get by. Now it's not.
This was my favorite app for role-playing with my favorite characters, I used to be borderline addicted to it. And while I understand that a free version needs ads to offset the cost of running such a platform BUT the ads now are getting WAY TOO AGGRESSIVE. Everytime you click a bot to talk to, a banner on top of your screen and then random forced ads while chatting? The subscription cost isn't really worth the "benefits" either but it's like you're going to bombard us with ads until we cave.
Pretty disappointed. Been using this app consistently for the past 6-ish months and now I just keep getting bombarded by ads. I was fine with getting one sometimes when I'd change chats, but now there's an annoying banner at the top and you can only send a few messages until an ad pops up as you send your message. Not changing my rating even tho the devs simply suggested paying for no ads. Clearly doesn't fix the problem since their only solution is to throw money their way. I'm disgusted.
