Yes there are ads but they're not intrusive. Everything about the app is great. I wish I could give it 10 stars! It's very easy to use, I love the "Faith steps", I love the lives that allow you to interact and even speak online if you need prayer and I love interacting with my brothers and sisters in Christ! I've been reporting and blocking the "creepers" who are jumping in my dm's "trying to get to know you better" and who are trying to use the app as their own personal dating app.
I was really hoping to get an app that had less of today's world, and more of the bible. This one seems to flood you with ads every time you do something. I realize they have to make money to pay for these things, but i would rather see the spirit of the app and pay for it then see all the advertisements and get discouraged. I've deleted it. I wish I could try this thing out without getting flooded with ads and be able to decide if I wanted to subscribe but the ads cause me to turn away.
As soon as I open the app for the 1st time...2 pop ups and then and an ad...might be highrated by other people, but I ain't gonna put up with that nonsense. Why would you set it up to do that, especially the first time opening the app!? I mean, I understand ads...but when you pop up with stuff within the app, like the prayer and all this other stuff, and then put an ad on after that before I even use the app myself...that's ridiculous! Come on developers...you can do better than that, right!?
NON STOP ADS!!!! I have never seen so many ads!! A soon as I open the app, I am hit with an ad. Many of the ads are long and difficult to click out of. In some of the ads, I have to click on four different screens to get out of the ad. Other ads, I literally have to close the app and restart. The ads are so intrusive that it is very difficult to accomplish anything in the app. Do yourself a favor. Do not install this app. It is not worth the frustration. Uninstalled after one day!
