This app is excellent. I'm passionate about truly learning to read, listen, and speak latin, and legentibus has taken away so many barriers on that journey and is helping me to build a solid daily habit. I would recommend legentibus as the #1 recource for anyone wanting to get started with latin, wanting to sharpen existing skills, or even a pro who just wants a great library of readings. I pay for a subscription and most likely will for years to come. I couldn't be more pleased with the app.
I've tried several resources for learning Latin and this is the BEST. Seriously. They combine the method of LLPSI (literally), and the UI makes it perfect. It is intuitive and makes learning fun. I'm not worried about flashcards or drills because the pacing is slow, but gradual, with the right duration for each topic. What would make this truly stand out as an auto-didact learning aid would be commentary after a reading, reinforcing the concepts from the reading; e.g., adding the Latine Disco.
Mirabile auditu! Super Teacher, Magister Pettersson's latin book app. What a great product! Very polished despite only being released a short while ago. No ads, and very reasonably priced . One of my new favorite tools for learning latin. I use it whenever I have a little time but don't want to pull out a physical book. I hope you continue to add more books with audio and translations. I love this app! The UI is beautiful, and the concept for learning Latin is solid. I have only one issue: would it be possible to include the option of purchasing individual books/recordings rather than paying for the subscription? Not because the price is unreasonable, but because it would at least allow users access to some content so they can decide from there whether they want to subscribe or not.
