Recent update has put sport in the middle of the home page, where before it was always at the bottom. Shame they didn't ask me, not offer a way of controlling it. I don't want to read about sport. Gone right off the app now!! I already use 'My news" but it's very difficult not to have lots of repetition on there.
I don't understand why they got rid of the widget, this was the main way I used to get my news. I also don't like the enormous images on the home screen (you used to be able to edit this) and I also find the scrolling sensitivity too high - when scrolling down an article I can never get to the end without accidentally swiping to another story!
There is some good content but the filters are too broad (eg Asia, not individual countries) and apply equally to your news page selection and to your notifications. I've had to turn off all breaking news notifications because far too many are of no urgent interest to me. Fix this and get another star!
Come on BBC put it back to how it was! Navigation is awful since it was updated. Why haven't you put it back to how it was when we liked it? Come on team!! It's still Who sanctioned this? This used to be perfect and some bright spark decided to use taxpayer's money to ruin it. The layout is terrible and finding what you want near impossible. Also videos won't play in full screen mode which is extremely frustrating!!
