It is a good purchase so you don't need to carry a set of dice around. It would be good if the app could track the extra dice rolled as part of an exploding success somehow. The app highlights the explosive success, but then loses it when you roll. Which does make it hard to track against a ring value to keep.
Can i just say WOW - I opened up the app and was HIT by that authentic sounding (maybe ghuzeng? Pipa? Sitar? some chinese instrument.) And then the wall paper selection for the different clans??? AmaZING - The rolling is pretty slick and I love that you can make presets for different rolls AND - you have the ability to add in regular d20's as well as the other dice (d6, d8, d100s - all of them.) Which is super handy. I might just delete my other dice apps because this one is so well made and fun
It looks great and is perfectly functional, but what the app is really missing, is some kind of visual indication what exploded dice belong together, it's kind of important for the game.
Rated low because there's no high contrast mode for the vision impaired. There's no reason you shouldn't be able to set the dice to be high contrast and easy to distinguish.
