I like the matching of profiles and even for those that almost match. Great platform to use. I have been using the service over 6 months now and it works every time. What would be great, however as a landlord is to be able to search other properties to see if you are on the money so to speak when it comes to pricing. I found the only way to look was to not be logged in to an account.
I own two city apartments that I rent out to working holiday visa holders and students, and I can confidently say that Flatmates has been the best platform I’ve used. I’ve tried other options in the past, but none come close to Flatmates. When time is of the essence and you need to find reliable housemates quickly, Flatmates consistently takes the pressure off and delivers every time.
the app advertises that you can find people to team up with, and you can do this on the browser version when figuring out if you want to download, but this doesn't actually exist. it is only for matching people and houses. additionally, you cannot search by suburb; there are preset "areas" you can select, and too bad if you only want certain suburbs in this, or the search area is too big. not worth your time.
