As a bird lover I needed to get this app. I love the poetry, and the questions bird asks but It'd be nice to be able to talk to each other more. I also bought the full version but needs new things. Also after the bird passes away the next ones should be colored differently, they all exactly the same.Parrots come in many shades, I dont know why that was not implemented. That'd make the friendship more real.
the game is cute, although as a horror fan the way the bird speaks feels uneasy. I'm sure there is no horror though. the interactions are very short but refreshing and I liked wondering what the bird would have in store for me each day. however, the poetry games were really weird since the poetry made no sense and felt AI generated. the free trial wasn't enough to make me want to purchase, but I loved the concept.
Perfect execution, top to bottom. Even though I didn't read the reviews, (SPOILERS) I could sense the ending coming, but it still hits like a freight train. That last screen is so... haunting. You really captured something special here; don't worry about the negative reviews, they just don't understand what you were going for. They will, in time. All is ephemeral. Good job.
Absolutely wonderful game and honestly a really nice way to explore emotions and grief. I'm a little annoyed that it restarts completely though. The garden goes blank, far as I can tell you can't access the poems and art. It's a bit hard for me to tell but I think the dialouge is repeating? It's still worth it, I'd say. It's just a bit jarring and upsetting when it's not what you're expecting. It'd have been nice to know it was a limited game, because it's not advertised like that.
