RT knowledge and the ability to apply it competently is traditionally achieved through repeated exposure to and participation in diverse real-world radio communications. This can be challenging, especially for student pilots who can find their concentration is nearly entirely taken up by learning to fly the aircraft. There may be little mental capacity remaining to comprehend and remember all the airborne RT they hear.

The overall content and idea of the app is very good. The only improvements I can suggest (and the reason it's not a 5 star review) are to be able to rewind/forward individual components of each module, rather than the jump feature. This would mean that you could just recap the last message spoken, without having to listen to whole sections of modules again, just to practice a specific part of it.
Great app! Find & Replace allows customising route details - it makes a difference to practise route traversing local airfields with correct frequencies. The app really fills gap in learning for me which otherwise costs £££ to practise during a flight! There's plenty of help with the RT written test but no-one seems to offer any practical training for RT except in the plane. Beats the 'other' app hands down! Really good value!!
This app is by far the best and most informative R/T learning platform I've seen. The price for the extra modules is also a fair price and worth the purchase at £18.99 I hope it remains this cost for future pilots to learn correct R/T as other apps have raised their costs hence I never purchased them..! After finding this app I'm glad I didn't. 😊 Brilliant R/T app... 👏
I was lucky enough to try out this app when it was still in development, it was good then and even better now! If you're concerned about the radio aspect of flying (and who isn't?) just get this app and I'd recommend the premium content, compared to most things in aviation it's very cheap.
