I just finished the game. I never played the original but this one is great!! the graphics, story, voice acting. my biggest issue is the combat system. it's so horrible that you can't even take out any enemies without losing almost all your health!! it definitely needs to be updated to a better combat system!! also I was not impressed with the ending at all!! in fact it really upset me. so I hope we get a sequel soon? but other than those things it's a great game!!
Thanks for putting so much effort into this, I love it. Great to look at, intriguing story, daunting atmosphere. Loved the game when it first came out and happily playing through it again years later. This game is artful and scary, and I miss when developers took pride in telling a story the way the Psychose team does. Hope they keep up the good work, I look forward to the next project!
PHENOMENAL (controller support available and smooth btw) , the remastered added a lot of nice touch up and the game was very enjoyable. looking forward to see if a part two ever drops
It's good that they updated the game, but they changed things that were already good. E.g. the walls in certain areas are changed which doesn't look good as before. We can no more increase the brightness of the flashlight without affecting the overall image. If you increase the brightness, the image becomes washed out. If you disable bloom, the image becomes too dark. The horizontal sensitivity is slow in high refresh rate. And, more things that were better in the previous version are now gone.
