Trying to book a flight with miles and the calendar simply refuses to load. Available flights are shown inconsistently or not at all. What the app shows on one viewing is different next time. Lots of blank spaces and loading animations. Website is the same. Guess I'll have to call in and book a flight over phone. Of course, flight availability is restricted for reward flights so I'll have to have my own calendar open and figure out everything over the phone... Not the most pleasant experience.
I unfortunately have tons of Air France miles, but their app always has bugs and you have to call them to do everything manually each time. Even when you call, you can only make payments in regular business hours. However, the booking you made online gets canceled after a few hours of no payment. It also just flat out doesn't have capabilities like other airlines to make changes or cancel an award booking, even with payment.
This app, or at least the data served to the app is not good. After a flight cancellation, which I 100% understand happens, I was rebooked on another flight. BUT I kept getting notifications that my flight was cancelled, which made me think my second flight was cancelled, then it would not let me check-in because it was telling me my flight was cancelled, even though I had a new flight. It also asked me to choose a new flight with an empty list. This was all very frustrating and confusing.
Haven't experienced the login problems that others have complained about of late... Also on a recent trip that included flights on 3 airlines, with a few stops along the way, I experienced zero issues when it came to notifications, alerts, flight updates... etc. The one thing that always perplexes me (it happens on the website as well/may be its the "French" way of doing things) but you search for a round trip fare, rather than it showing the full fare, it prices outbound separate from return
