All old data is gone! Why wouldn't they just update the app instead of completely wiping out the old one? And if you're going to create a new one, *import our data into the new app* , it's in the same account! Radon fluctuates over time, so basically this is little starting from a brand new device. So disappointing.
dropping a star.app was better, when they cut over to the new app, they deleted all my data or didn't migrate it, so that's unfortunate as I've been using them for years. the new app is slower than the previous, the graphs are more crayon like in drawing and don't look as precise, they always need to pause to update and seems to favor Bluetooth now even though I have a hub, I'm missing one of my devices that's still visible in the old app, and devices drop off now with no warning of low battery.
The app unnecessarily requires Internet access to work, a big problem for me. There is no app option for data download to your phone, you must use their website for that. Data sampling issues seem to have improved, but the app has stopped automatically collecting data. I have to start the app and manually trigger download of data from the sensor.
Great devices and app. I have the view and the wave. I put the wave in my crawlspace and the view in my basement for monitoring radon. Both devices have proved invaluable at monitoring and also helping to locate radon infiltration points. I wish I could see the info from both devices on the same trend. Mainly radon. When radon levels fluctuate, it would be nice to be able to see which monitor goes up first. It's not hard to look at the individual trends but it's easier if they were on the same.
