I played #2 and still do from time to time, so it was nice to see a newer version. For the $2 I paid, it was worth it, but I still love #2, not enough to rob this of stars, though. It's a game to idle play and when you're bored, but I really like that it makes me put it down often. I will probably purchase more games from this company because they don't break the bank and aren't bogged down by micro transactions and ads. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
This is a game I always come back to. I have downloaded it on to so many different devices. It's challenging, fun, rewarding and the game changes so much as you play it and unlock new abilities. It's also a game you can play for a few minutes and be done or play for much longer and never lose interest. I'm so happy to be downloading it again.
Fairly straightforward gameplay. However, if I get the max score on a level, the game forces you to play it 2 more times to get the lower scores. This really ruins the game, as there's no real sense of achievement. You beat the highscore, but it's still not good enough to pass the level completely. Also, all the animations prevent you from moving tiles, but the timer still counts down. The animations (like fireballs) need to stop the timer while they are happening. Otherwise, the game is fun.
Was a big fan of ToM Blitz on the PS Vita which was purely a score attack game with no real progression. I enjoyed this game and just reached the end, but was very disappointed to see that I would be starting over from the first level with all of my upgraded bonuses and totems gone. I would have loved to keep playing with all of my upgrades retained, but I really don't want to start from scratch again. I couldn't even retry to beat the bonus score on the final level because it finished the game.
