I used to really love this game. I've been playing for a little over a decade on and off. They did another recent large update and it's even more pay to play than it has been in the past. Accounts are tied to phone numbers instead of emails. And there's no community anymore with how auto play the game has become. Skip dngn is nice, but it lacks actual gameplay anymore. It's just skip dngns until you're out of dngn water and auto farm on you highest floor. It isn't fun anymore. It hurts my heart.
I really like this game a lot but I might uninstall it because I'm looking for more open world exploration. The style, skill effects, progression and everything else is amazing and I recommend this game for anyone who enjoys a non-gacha game with characters you can commit to advancing without the pressure of keeping up with the latest. There is a point system so you get to put thought in and shape how your character grows. Also the Oriental style and skills just can't be beat.
I've played Avabel since 2015, and it's kind of sad to see this game go down the gutter. the progression system is super auto now, every single numerical value is now inflated through the roof, and the hard work i spent building a character a couple years ago is all gone now because ASOBIMO decided to make levelling to 800 disgustingly easy, and raise the level cap. It's disappointing. I love the visuals and music so much...I wish they could bring it back properly.
Dead and lackluster.. I really used to love this game. I’ve been playing it on and off since it first launched. It really has become a lonely game. Even the “active” players are always on auto now. I’ve maxed levels of several characters now, as well as unlocked and mastered every class for them, but the fun is gone. The community is what made this game fun. I suppose PvP is still somewhat interesting, but with this being a p2w game, it definitely isn’t for everyone…
