Updating July 2026. Sadly, not enjoying it very much nowadays. once you hit the late game, it's a massive time waster, where the game will just kill you on rng. Some amount of strategy helps, but even new units are losing impact on endgame and it really robs the game of satisfaction. The game also has created a huge gap between those with the new units and those with multiple copies of the new units. tldr: greedy bad game design. spare yourself
This game used to be alot of fun. But lately the Devs have introduced power creep to a level that is just dumb. Events that give free tickets are locked behind the super 3 stage and let me tell you it is not fun at all trying to defeat those stages. There are barely any usable characters now. You have maybe a month on a new character before they get power crept and are unusable. I have never considered quitting this game more than I am right now.
EDIT: The devs have listened to feedback in regards to time limited content. Not only does it seem that they will stay away from it moving forward, they reintroduced content that had been removed due to the prior limitation. It is always excellent to see devs take player feedback as a matter of import. This game was great until they introduced time limited content. I will change my review if they move away from that, but this game has been made terrible with it.
I’ve been having a blast with this game! It is incredibly free-to-play friendly, and the game gives out a good amount of Dragon Stones to help you keep up. The summoning system feels fair, and I love that I can chase my favorite characters from the series and actually use them to take on challenging bosses. One of the best features is being able to use friend characters—it lets you try out units you don't even own yet. Highly recommend for any Dragon Ball fan!
