Just another war game where it comes down to 3 or 4 guilds that totally control the game. If you aren't in one of those you're just a farm for them. They level faster because they play more and cooperate so the power disparity grows larger every day you play. Maybe you'll get lucky and get into one of these guilds, but chances are you won't. It requires a large amount of your time and money if you want to contend. Less pay to win than most I will give it that for sure. But the element is still there. I mean this is a cash grab off a popular series after all. The graphics are beautiful, but in the end what does that really matter if the gameplay is basically the same mmo war game that's been around since the opening of Google Play as a thing? Nothing really innovative or different. Just yet another reskinning of a bad game designed specifically to drain you of as much money as possible before you get frustrated and quit. Hope this helps. TL;DR Less pay to win, but still the same basic mmo war game. Time waster.
After the last update I can no longer log into the game. Cleared cache, no effect. Cleared data, no effect. Reinstalled the game twice, and still nothing. It keeps telling me that their servers are not sending out data properly. I feel bad for people that spent hundreds of dollars on a game that they can't play because the developers screwed up an update. Also in game chat does not allow apostrophes, which is silly.
Game is severely pay to win. As a longtime RotK fan the idea for an mmo warring states China with clans sounds great on paper, but the execution for this is deeply flawed. Combat against players is basically a numbers game and doesn't require much tact as the battles are played out automatically. Some items like the Peace Token and Teleport token are extremely broken. Game is highly in favor of whales (more so than most gacha). overall this is below average at best, forgettable at worst.
Would be great if it didn't keep glitching. When you close out and go back in it will keep doing the log in countdown and glitch over and do it again. Sometimes it will tell you that you finished a challenge and to collect your reward but when you go to collect it will give you an error stating you didn't complete it. I love ROTK and have hope this will be a great game when debugged a bit
