I loved this app and program before, but the app isn't working anymore. Idk if it's the new update or what. I tried to do reading eggs junior with my son and the screen is stuck saying please rotate your device. I've tried rotating my phone every which way, closing then reopening the app, and even uninstalling then reinstalling it. Nothing works. It won't even let me go back to the dashboard to try and change programs or kids.
Began very well and was impressed. After a week or two the app kept freezing, restarting and being buggy. Paid for first month subscription incase the bugs were down to my L.O getting through the levels too quickly for a free trial. The problems persisted and now she loses lives and boxes fill for clicking the correct answer meaning she's repeating the same thing over and over until I force restart. Not worth £1 a month, let a lone £10 a month! Subscription cancelled.
Volume control is bad. My experience is mostly with the Reading Eggs lessons. The audio at the end of each lesson that says "Well done!" or "Congratulations" is really loud, but the audio for the actual lesson is very low. And for some lessons, we can't listen to the question again! It's really frustrating for small kids. Otherwise, the lessons themselves are well planned and designed. If audio issues were fixed, it would be so much better.
My two year old enjoyed playing the games on the app. For the games where he had to pick the correct letter or number he would purposely choose the wrong one because he thought the sound it made was funny, so that was a little frustrating. The app would also regularly glitch. It would freeze in the middle of the game, play the sound for the next activity, but only show the background, and was generally glitchy. The app was installed on a "compatible device" so it was rather annoying.
