Accountability Partner (Parental Control)
Choose an accountability partner to ensure you stay on track. Whenever you want to turn off or reset any blocker option, your partner will be notified and must approve the change. This feature can act as a form of parental control.
Available Accountability Partners: Myself, Friend/Parent, TimeDelay.
Block Apps & Websites/Keywords
Easily block any distracting websites, keywords, or apps from your blocklist page, helping you stay focused on your goals or studies.
YouTube Safe Search
By default, BlockerHero also blocks adult content on YouTube. If you try to search for any explicit content on YouTube, this app will block you from accessing the content immediately.
Focus Mode🕑
This feature is very important if you want more focus and productivity in life.
How it works: In focus mode, for example, you schedule a focus time (10:30 PM - 6:00 AM) then during the active focus time only Call/SMS and your custom-selected apps are allowed, other apps will be blocked.
Important permissions required by the app:
1. Accessibility Service(BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE): This permission is used to block adult websites and apps on your phone.
2. System alert window(SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): This permission is used to display a blocked window overlay over the blocked adult content also helps us to enforce safe search on browsers.
3. Device admin app(BIND_DEVICE_ADMIN): This permission is used to prevent you from uninstalling the BlockerHero app.

User Reviews
I have mixed feelings about this app. Off all the blockers out there that I have tried (across PC and phone apps), this is without a doubt the best. There is a single problem, but a big one. I have the premium membership for life, but for some reason the blocker stops working ramdomly. Everytime this happens, I will need to go to the accesibility settings, reset the permissions and then reset the cellphone. This happens randomly in a period 0f 1-3 days and each time I need to do the same.
great for blocking when you have self control but after purchasing the premium version to add uninstall protection there was a quite easy way around it that made it pointless. I havent found an app with similarly priced blocking so this is the best on the market I think, just did not work out for me :( would recommend but not for anyone who needs to block any access completely with no workarounds
extremely annoying to use, the "type the word" permission challenge is so difficult, not even my partner can complete it also it blocks more then it should, wanna use Google? too bad it's blocked by the app for some dumb reason, if there is anyway to disable the app without needing to do the word challenge, I would appreciate it. edit: turns out it was just a problem with my phone, not the app, therefore I'll change it to four stars, but still, please make it less strict by default
This app works well... a little too well 😭 I turned on "block image and video search" without realizing that it meant ALL image and video search, but I also turned on the anti-uninstall feature along with the accountability partner being myself. So, now I just can't access the image and video search until tomorrow when I have more attempts 😭
