Each level gives you a solitaire-style deck of letter cards to place on the board, creating chains of words. But don’t break the chain – that is called a “twaddle” and it will lock a letter!
Moxie Word Traveler is perfect for young and old, whether you find word games easy or hard. You can use the words you know to string letters together and beat each level. If you’re stuck, you can ask the bellhop to help you make a word.
If you have a big vocabulary, you will still find a challenge in Moxie Word Traveler. Just place letters on the board to spell the highest-scoring words and beat our hand-crafted puzzles.
Like Scrabble and Words With Friends, you add one letter at a time to the words already on the board, turning them into new words. Like anagram puzzles, word jumbles, and word searches, you use word patterns to find the best spot for each letter.

I rarely give anything 5 stars, but this is my favorite mobile word game. It's straightforward to play but requires strategic thinking and a good understanding of the patterns (and exceptions) inherent in English words to play successfully. My only complaint is that I've played all the levels, and there's no indication of when new levels will be added. Fingers crossed...
I have played this word game since it's inception and have always been pleased but something has changed. There are days when the link for points does not work and even though it states "more levels coming soon", it has been months since there have been new levels. I contacted the developer and was told if I wanted more levels I needed to install an earlier version. I'm very disappointed because this is my favorite word game and I have recommended it to many.
One of my favorites! Each round presents a different challenge, with a running theme for each destination. No insipid or cutesy features or animations. Requires not only spelling ability and a strong vocabulary but also a strategic approach when forming words and using available tools. Some of the lexicon is a bit dubious, but the game is highly enjoyable. And no ads! Edit: Deducted 2 stars because I have seen "More Levels Coming Soon" for SEVEN months. All that's available is a daily challenge
I did like the game. I really did. I got up to lvl 100. Then 5 character words became a thing. I was then often given unhelpful letters to play with. It got hard, it became a chore. I stopped playing. No more ad revenue. I'm just saying there's a very fine balance between offering a more challenging experience and not making it so hard it becomes unplayable. Ultimately, you the developer, lose. I've played some games well beyond lvl 100 and they get this balance right.
