About Advanced Car Eye 3
Advanced Car Eye 3.0 (Pro) Dash Cam comprise two premium wide-angle cameras (QHD for front and FHD for rear) for your vehicle. Using proximity (Radar, Only for ACE 3.0 Pro) and vibration sensors (G sensors), it captures and records critical situations while driving and parking to use as evidence if necessary.
Advanced Car Eye 3.0 (Pro) is the monitor and control panel for your cameras. You can watch and download recorded videos and images and make manual recordings.
All settings can also be adjusted using the ACE 3.0 app:

Horrible experience so far, after multiple attempts I am able to get the Bluetooth connected. I then immediately get a firmware update notification which requires a wifi connection that repeatedly fails despite following all the troubleshooting tips. There is no way to ignore or close the update rendering the app useless
Hardware supports up to 256 gb, it is not working with 1 or 2 Tb, it is a big shame for BMW's original product. This is the reason I couldn't find who hit my car and gone away. It stores only ~10-15 hours recording. It is overwriting after ~10-15 hours. Twice someone hit and gone away and I saw damage after ~20 hours and recordings were not there, because it overwrote. It is funny, I paid to identify this type of situation but it didn't help. And after the last update it is not connecting!!!!
EDIT: New app update 02/06/26 brings new 1.34 firmware. Connect your app to your ACE 3 0 to update. Works fine and connects via Bluetooth. It will download via your 4G/5G phone signal despite the fact the camera says it needs WIFI. Took a minute to download, install and update the ACE 3.0 Pro. Never had a single problem connecting.
wifi connection to camera does not work with pixel 7 devices. tried two different pixel 7s (android 16) and two different ace 3.0. worked intermittently with a different android 16 device.
