A good app which records movement and sounds well. The lighting is good but when viewing the live feed via Alexa Show or Fire TV, the PIR light does severely pixelate the video feed. There is also a 10 second delay on the live feed via Alexa or Fire TV, so playback on Amazon's video biased products needs to be corrected as soon as possible. I also cant activate the time controlled light option, because the software on this app can't determine the system clock to turn off the lights before 12am.
If I could give it a rating of 0 stars it would still not do it right. I have a lot of experience with IOT but this is total rubbish. 1st of all to be able to connect the camera ONLY over 2.4Ghz???? that is utterly stupid. Most routers today do this automatically and can't be forced to only 2.4Ghz. So I set up an old router in order to force my network to 2.4Ghz. Then after multiple times trying the camera App finally found the camera but never completed the installation. Only red green light.
Actual video's should still record while what ever it's recording is still in motion.
Recordings just do not transmit so you can not view them. Pointless to have a camera where you cannot view what happened! Customer service slow, sent an IT incident a week ago and replied to the information they wanted lots of technical questions but did not resolve the issue. Get a ring doorbell much easier!
