This is a great Thomas racing game. The controls are easy and the overall graphics awesome. My nephew loves it. However, I find the $6.99 monthly subscription to be a money-hungry trick. It would be better if you could unlock other racers as you win and earn some type of in-game points. That would teach kids a to work hard and feel proud of their achievements. I understand the developers need to make money, but they can have an option for one time purchases instead of a subscription.
Budge is greedy for money when it comes to this game. They expect you to pay 7$ a month just to unlock everything. Sounds good? right? Sure isn't. You are required to pay this to use any other features. You can only play with the map funnel tunnel and only max out Thomas unless you pay 7$/month for everything else. What a joke. Stop making games p2w. So, unless you are gonna pay 7/month for all features, I don't recommend playing this game.
one of the best Thomas games in awhile! i've been wanting a game like this for the series since the early 90's when i first got into the series. While yes it may be a tad simple, the high speed 3D action is actually quite exhilarating. my only request is more tracks cause this game definitely needs more content. i would absolutely love to see a version of this game with 20+ tracks, more characters, and of course better graphics to come to the Nintendo Switch! I would buy that day one!!
My son (2 and a half) loves this game and finds it easy to play, BUT at this age he doesn't understand why he can't play as his favourite characters (you can only play as Thomas for free, but he loves Gordon and James). I wouldn't mind paying a one-off fee of £10 to unlock all the trains, but £10 a month for a toddler game is an absolute joke. No way. Wouldn't recommend introducing your child to this game, unless you're willing to pay the extortionate monthly fee as its disappointing for them.
