This game has potential, but there are too many issues to rate it highly. The art obviously had AI involved at some point, despite the developers saying they were against AI. The story is split up into very small parts, so it takes only a couple minutes to get through, taking a large amount of keys to play through a chapter. And the gem cost vs. how many gems you get by watching ads is very imbalanced.
So far I love it! There are definitely a few hinks that need to be worked out, but the developers for the most part are listening to consumer feedback and work very quickly to implement the changes that their players ask for. I've seen more development and receptiveness from this small indie dev team than I have from large scale gaming corporations.
Look, I am really enjoying the story so far. The characters are great, romance is a little slow but I'm still highly invested in my chosen route, and the mechanics are good. One thing I think needs work is the length of the chapters. Being an avid reader, it's hard spending a key for only 30 seconds of story. And being that you only get 3 keys, and have to wait several hours for a reload... it's obnoxious and frustrating. I really want to finish the story, but not sure if the wait is worth it
The story and art are really well made, and I appreciate the amount of effort put into the game as a whole! However, I'm not a fan of playing scenes instead of a full chapter, especially when each scene costs one key; and speaking of that, Gems/Coins/Keys are very tedious to earn, and even when earned, they're never enough because the ally missions are so expensive 😣 Also, the pre-register gift was a bit lackluster, and I was expecting just a little more, but, oh well; it's still something 🤷
