It's been great so far. I"d like to be able to set daily alarms for weekdays only, excluding weekends. I'd also like the custom alarm's name to scroll in the watch's date window, while that alarm is sounding. That may require a firmware update for my ECB-900DB, if it's even possible. I was disappointed that the lap speed wasn"t shown on the lap data chart, based on lap distance. Why can't that be calculated & displayed in the app as well? Otherwise, I like the way that lap data is presented.
Initially app stopped working. Tech support got it going. From that point it works good. There is NO way to use this app with location turned off. It seems Casio wants to track your location. I don't want to share location. Users should have a way to opt out. Also, change skins or colors for easier viewing of the app in different surroundings ie: indoor/outdoor. Blue on black is among the worst choices as they contrast poorly.
At first, all functions seemed to work as advertised. Alarms could be set, settings changed, etc. The only complaint I had in the beginning was the constant notification "Connecting...", that was showing. Annoying but not very. At some point however, the app started crashing every time I try to access any of the alarms. It connects fine, I can change the time and so on, alarms show up on my phone, but the app crashes when I try to press one of them to edit. OnePlus 8, Android 11.
Excellent so far, I've been using it for over a month. My calendar events sync and the stability of the connection and the app is reliable. Two only comments is that the app can be slow when sending changes to the watch, which in my mind should be really quick. Second, the app can only sync the main accounts for the phone, but not other calendars that are part of other apps such as outlook or exchange. I had to get another desktop app to send my work calendar events to my Google calendar
