Amazingly well done app. It uses your own personal games to train you, remembering your blunders as problems to solve later. When you make a mistake, they will point it out and sometimes even flip the board so you have the chance to discover the mistake you made. So far it's been the most effective strategy for me to graduate from beginner to (almost) intermediate
Horrible design. The agent will impose the same continuous check and leave the King nowhere but one spot to move. No way to block the check, only move to the side. If the agent does this repeatedly and you move back to the same square 3 times, it calls a draw, even though you have no other options except to move back and forth between two positions. It could have taken my bishop, but instead, it forces the draw instead of continuing the game. This is a horrible design flaw.
it has the drawbacks of both ai and chess bots, sometimes it repeats itself or it'll address the second or third most important thing in a position rather than the most, and the difficulty is like mkst other bots where sometimes they find the best move and others they fumble heavy even on advanced. thats mkre a chess bot thing, other than that though it's good, puzzles based off your own games is nice the opening courses are pretty good the Caro one is the best. 3.5 🌟
It was an awesome app, teaching me all sorts of things I hadn't know before. I loved it. But suddenly I couldn't learn anymore until I paid a subscription. If I could just pay like 5-10$ for a premium version of this I would but a subscription? Now I'll never touch the game again. With limited playability I don't care how good the game is. Uninstall.
