When trying to use the puffin browser on my tv trough the remote, it basically forces me to get a subscription, thats not how puffin worked before, but now the remote is keeping the keyboard open att any point and so on. When i realized this was the case and that i wouldn't be able to use ether browser or the remote i had to give you my honest review. The remote does nothing that my other Android remote can't do by default, nothing special here except i need a subscription to use both apps. Bad!
Remote: Xperia VI, Android Browser: Android streamer Well, I'm out. I don't mind paying for especially if I use it and it has a purpose I can't find elsewhere with better options. Unfortunately this remote and subsequent browser are being replaced. I actually quit trying to use the browser in the streamer due to this. It was my last go before I gave up until something better is there.
Really has been going downhill lately.. the remote app has been a problem for a while but has gotten worse.. some of the most basic functions have stopped working on multiple Android devices with different versions of the Android OS.. uninstall reinstall no difference! please update your remote control app.
Pretty much useless. Doesn't do anything my tv remote can do just as good. Just arrow buttons and a back button. If i lost my tv remote i guess o could use this but then again i would have the google home app for that. Put somebgood stiff on here like, recents shortcut, favorites. Kind of take the left side bar options and put in the app. Then i would be willing to use it.
