Glad to have this on mobile, but gameplay with a controller sucks. I can only walk, not run, the camera feels sluggish, and I can only use powers from the touchscreen. You can navigate the menu with the controller, but it's difficult to tell what's being selected in the pause and setting menus. Touchscreen works best, but it's not as fun, especially on devices that are different from your phone. Here's hoping we see an update to the controls when they release the DLC, I'll update my review then.
Great game overall with great graphics and gameplay. Runs smoothly on my older Note 10+. It's like GTA with goats but the graphics and variety seem better than the GTA mobile games. My only complaint is there doesn't appear to be a splitscreen mode like on PC, etc. This would be a great feature for larger tablets and when casting to a TV, even if majority of people probably playing on phones might not use it, and it seems it would be an easy add since other versions of the game have it.
This is a great game, I want to rate it higher. There is one glaring issue that needs to be fixed in order for this game to be really fun. For controller support, the camera movement moves very slowly. This makes moving around in the world a real pain. I've tried two different xbox [2023 base model] controllers, and each one has the same problem. Also, the graphics and fps could be a little higher, but there are no settings in the menu. I am using a Galaxy Tab S9 12gb ram 512gb storage.
I love the goat simulator games, for their goofiness and utter chaotic nature, and I really wish I could rate it more stars. Some missions take a minute or 2 to register that you actually did it, and when you close the game even after saving, you have to go through the whole process to sync the towers again. The crashing isn't constant, but usually comes after a big accomplishment and are really annoying. A bit more optimization could really make this game shine.
