Just started this game so it's too early to give an accurate review. But first few levels were of course easy and fun. Update: ok, lowered to 1 star, you play for a very long time to be able to afford to upgrade tons of things in one room. On top of that you are forced to watch ads whether you want to or not, and not just one but 2! Also if you choose to watch for extra turns the same thing, they make you watch 2 ads. So you'll spend a lot of your game time watching ads. PART 3 OF REVIEW: I quit
I really WANT to give this 5 stars. But the reality is that anytime you try to set up a 5 in a row power up, the app finds a way to block what you're trying to do. The only way to get a 5 in a row power up is by chance. This app will change the rules to block your moves pretty much every time. Plus, you get totally smothered with ads. If you suffer through an ad for three additional moves, you can only use two of them. The app will steal the third one. Don't bother wasting your time with this.
The con kept is good. The story line is good. I get that there are ads and options to buy extras. My complaints are si please. 1. It takes far too many levels played to finish out a given room. That becomes discouraging because of course, the levels get more difficult the bigger you go. 2. You are not given enough coins for finishing a level especially if you have a lot of moves left. 3. If there are specials left on the board, they dont auto explode for more credit.
I really wanted to give 5 stars. The graphics and design options are awesome. Not a lot of ads which is a BONUS. My issue is as you get further along, the cost of interior items goes up (way up), but so does the difficulty of the levels. I get it, I like a challenge, but playing a level 10 times for $500 when an item is $1500 is not fun for me. If you're not going to give diamonds for levels won, don't ask for 500 for 5 extra moves. A couple fixes and I may consider continuing to play it.
