I’ve been using the Deye Solar app for a few weeks to monitor my home solar setup, and it’s been pretty reliable overall. The real-time data on energy production and consumption is helpful—I usually check it in the mornings and evenings to see how things are performing. I like the daily and monthly breakdowns to spot trends without digging too much. It took a little getting used to at first, but I figured out. Notifications have been useful too, especially when there’s a drop in output.
This App is horrible! Takes forever to open, and when it does it is never in sync. It is always 3 to t minutes behind. So if you want monitor your live voltage useage for example if the microwave is in use, you won't be able to do that, or any other high watt useage appliances. Just have to get up and go out and look at the actual inverter. So the app is useless for real live data. It does have long term data that you can use, but that's it. Sad! Better APP please!
I would have rated this 5 stars if the push notifications/ direct notification on the mobile phone worked. Only email based notification work as of now 😕. That being said the interface of the app is one of the best out there . Everything is easily accessible. Plenty of usage statistics are available so a solar farm owner can easily track everyday usage and import statistics easily .
Works well as a *basic* tool to monitor from afar. But is not real-time monitoring. It is merely a static snapshot, refreshable after a minute or so. PROS: Easy to set up; Retains some days of data; Easier to read than on inverter (which has tiny font). Accessible over internet. CONS: Annoying ads. MISSING: User settable alarms, e.g. low SoC? Download data? House load not show as "UPS"? Charts to show kW.hr?
