#1 reason to use this app is that it stores your data locally. It's not sent to a server or stored by the company, it's only on your device. Great for those who want privacy or are worried what a company (or your own country) may do with your data. Love the general UI and customization. I've unfortunately had issues with this app crashing repeatedly for seemingly no reason when I go to enter data for "Today", especially when going in to edit "Today" after initially submitting symptoms.
Pros: I like that data is stored locally, it's also a plus that the app is aesthetically pleasing and not super pink. Cons: Currently no way to track birth control--I would like to be able to track when I've put a ring in + get a reminder when it's time to remove it. The app currently only seems to let you select whether you used BC on a certain day, nothing else. I know this is a relatively new app so I am hopeful this feature will be added in the future so I can get full use out of the app!
This app is great. It only has one problem: there is no way to exclude an anomalous cycle from the calculations - if I have a weird cycle for a known reason like stress, travel, or pregnancy, then the only way to exclude it from the calculations I can find is to delete all tracking data prior to it. Or if there is, then I haven't found it yet.
I really wanted to like this, given the current panic over menstrual info and privacy, but it's not for me. With no way to remove certain trackers, it's not worth it for me; I have no interest in my fertility, so that's three trackers I don't need. Overall there's just not enough customization available, so the only pro to this over other period trackers is the fact that it's open source and private. Also, my import of a CSV file (generated by OvuView) didn't actually import any data, and the save button for trackers (I'm assuming that's what it says) is three-quarters of the way off the right side of the screen for some reason.
