Lots of good lessons here, but playing along to songs with sheet music is impossible. I'm using Drumeo, and the audio, metronome, and sheet music are all off-beat from each other. I've tried a dozen songs and they all have the same problem - it's impossible to play accurately to a metronome along with the music because the timing is all over the place.
New launch has been a complete disappointment. The format is unnecessarily complicated because of the design. In November I bought lifetime membership that came with 3 years of songs and the songs are locked and I can't open them. In app it just goes to a musora logo screen that's it. On PC it doesn't do anything (like there is no link to the video) It's been months now and my 3 years of free songs are just slipping away. No communication in it. So is the plan to just let the 3 years expire?
I have been taking drum lessons for a bit over a year. Due to a busy life my practice has been sporadic. My instructor is absolutely fabulous. This app has been a game changer for me. It gives me workouts to practice during the week then I go into lessons with new skills. My drumming has improved exponentially. Thank you Musora! I signed up due to the event Chad Smith is leading (he has been a major inspiration for me)
If you're just now learning, it's a great app. The classes teach you all you need to get into it and have fun. But, I found many songs that are unavailable. Second, the music often lags or plays ahead of the sheet music,which throws things off, and attempting to get it right is difficult. Lastly, since an update a few months ago, most of the songs, almost all of what I enjoyed to play, were taken off. There are other apps with more songs and cheaper, but if you want to learn this is a good app.
