The game is fun and was going smoothly, not having to restart a level, then all of a sudden at level 49, I am stuck. I have been at it for days. the enemies are just way too hard when the previous 48 levels were a breeze. I decided to spend some real money on this game too in hope it would help. But no, I am now stuck and cannot proceed even after spending money on gems.
It's a fun game that isn't pay to play or pay to win. What stops it from being a great game and 5 stars is the fact that it's stale. After a couple dozen waves there are no new zombies, no real challenge. The upgraded towers but have anything special about them. Each new wave means that another hundred zombies come. The majority of zombies pose no risk to your base, only the medium and boss zombies do very little, if any real damage. A so-so game not worth keeping installed.
It is great that the game does not have any forced advertisements. However, the downside is that one can quickly max out everything. I purchased the 1 million credits, but it was not worth it. I thought the game would be more enjoyable, but unfortunately, apart from the changes in tower design, there is nothing more. Even the zombie flies that appeared at the beginning of the game did not appear again. In conclusion, the game became boring, and nothing much happened after that.
This is a super easy game that requires zero thought. I need that sometimes. I got to wave 250 and unlocked the last tower skin (the driving force for me . I thought they looked cool. After that, there really wasn't a reason to play. Never died once. In fact, I think a zombie only touched my fortress once. Again, I'm cool with that - I need easy sometimes. Only comlaints: a little repetitive, needs more enemy types, hit boxes are Way too small. Otherwise, simple fun.
