I have been an eight sleep user since 2019. the cooling feature is good the app is terrible. the more updates they do the worse it gets. I go to bed same time every night but always says consistency 30% range. new updates have me going to bed 3 hrs later, it says I get 1.5 hrs a sleep a night. autopilot has done nothing for over a year. time slept used to match wearable . garmin wearable is perfect for time slept. continually disappointed with the direction of this product. metrics useless
Managing being home and away is difficult and often appears ineffective. The whole app is difficult to navigate. most of the time I can accomplish my goal, it just takes 3x longer than it should. And my changes often don't stick, so I have to do it all again when I get in bed and things aren't as I expect. The sleep metrics are questionable.
Overpriced and enshitification in action. the podcast is fine. They spam you with emails to upgrade a new one like you didn't just spend 2k on yours. Then, you can either pay $200/year for an app that you 90% don't need or get rid of it and have to set everything manually every night. I have no loyalty to this brand and if I buy another one, I will find someone with a more customer friendly business model.
no matter what we try to do, the app will not track our sleep, nor will autopilot adjust temps during sleep. we have had the pod for years, and ever since you released the new pod 4 or whatever the app has quit working. feels like planned obsolescence for those of us with older pods. considering chucking it and finding another option. fix your app!!
