I got into the game, but so far I am a little irritated... The voice acting, while a plus, it is voiced HORRIBLY. Sounds extremely scripted and bland. It is a dream job of mine to be able to do voice over work, as I know how to not sound so dull, lifeless, and scripted. Also, every time I try to purchase something I get a pay failed 60005 error. And the package I want is a limited time item... If I want to spend a dollar, shouldn't I be allowed to? I am very disappointed so far. =/
There's not enough room here for everything I want to say, so I'll be brief. First, the positive. ToW is a cute and visually well-crafted game with an active and mostly helpful community full of fun people, and there are plenty of activities to immerse yourself in. That's good. Now the bad. The real money economy is completely bloated and way too expensive (we on this server get about 40% less spirals per purchase and pay about 50% more per item as others), and the game balance is terrible.
Really solid game overall. it's not an auto mmo like most on mobile, but you can auto for fetch quests which is pretty nice. The classes each play differently and the events are unique. The guild system is one of the worst I have experienced. I shelled out the large sum for a guild, and I was told to have 10 members in 8 hours for it to make it. that would have been fine if I could actually recruit for my guild, or it could be searched for. instead it was buried in a list hoping people see it
Beautiful game, decent gameplay and controls. the party system is ok and the "recruiting mercenaries" is very helpful when you can't get people to join you. things that could be better though: 1) make the party slots selectable for class you are looking for, merc or real player. 2) let people use the "free" spirals for buying if they have enough. what's the point of them if you can't even use them??
