I was going to give this five stars, but I've lost lots of games in a row because of ad glitches. one of which I was making a TON of money for my family during, but the ad failed and I lost the ability to stay. the ads keep freezing the game but only AFTER the whole ad, and when you reopen the game the only option left is to use apples. I used all my apples to set up success and feel cheated. Otherwise this is an amazing game and you can play completely without paying a cent, its lots of fun.
"I love it, but..." I love the concept, I love the game, I love the little "events" that occur, but after the first story, it's absolutely impossible to win the second story (without p2p). I read the other reviews and thought, eh, I'll try it out anyhow, but I got stuck too. I'm heartbroken bc this game was so much fun, that it crashed out so fast, not gradually by level. I'm uninstalling for now, but hopefully in a few months it'll be easier and I'll come back to play again!
Really fun game, can have develop without spending money, no ads, and pretty challenging! I believe the lack of control on faith adds to the challenge but it also does suck how you either have to hate your spouse or have a child even when you don't want to. There's also not a lot of opportunities to gain skill point which can mess up your progress due to inevitable disaster scenarios which also sucks, still fun game in my opinion!
The first story is nice, easy...a great way to unwind. The second story is when you start getting the ads..m about every 4th question. The third story, it's an ad after every question and sometimes as the question pops up before you're able to give a response. At that point, it's no longer relaxing but fully annoying. I'm sure there's similar games with far fewer ads. I will say I've never encountered a game with as many ads and as frequent with the ads as this one. I'd pass on this one.
