It would be far better if it didn't have to reload after every race because of a server disconnect, and the same happens when trying to open purple chests - It just restarts the app and your chest is gone, no reward received. The racing itself is good, though because they've made it look shinier it does take longer to start a race - Just to be able to tap to skip the start animation where the camera (slowly!) pans around would be a huge improvement. I'll stick to HCR2 for now.
Hot phone when playing and consumes a lot more battery than Hill Climb Racing 2 thus taking away most of the casual experience at the cost of making it look "better", it does look nice even on low graphics settings but that still won't stop phone heat up. Gameplay is fun but could just be an extra mode in Hill Climb 2 really. I'm uninstalling due to battery life.
Brilliant game kept me occupied over last 5 weeks during some recent surgery. literally every day 3 4 times. Now approaching GR level 66 which will give me 1500 coins keep playing to GR level 72 and you only get 150 coins? level 88 give you 300 and 90 750 coins. Really all this effort to playing the game i just feel the rewards should increase or at least better every GR level you go up, to keep me wanting to play the game, puts me off wanting to carry on playing what's the point?
The gameplay is solid but the connection issues are frustrating. Several times I'm booted out of the game after every race due to connection issues, even when I'm on my home WiFi. *edit* the connection issues are getting worse.
