Another one gone to the wind of profits. Used to be free and basic, but now anything too much (such as more storage amounts) is a "Premium" feature. They also hide the files for you, so unless you know how to get to the storage folder and get it unlocked, you won't be able to transfer them. It used to be 5 stars, simple, and helpful. Now it's a profit pocket for the developer. Done using here. P.S. Keep your head aware - they made their logo to look like the Samsung app, but it's clearly not.
edit: Dropping my rating because one of the "ads" was clearly trying to get me to download a virus. One of those "you have viruses! clean now!" type scams that dont let you click off of them. I will be finding a new voice recorder app soon now. I'm not killing my phone for a free app. whoever makes this app and keeps it running, you need to look at the ads you are allowing on it. Nothing that could be a virus should ever be allowed. I deleted my old review because it got too long.
The first recording I made was 27 minutes and the app only recorded 8 minutes. I tried to find the location but either my phone or the app don't allow me to view the files location. nothing is shown in the folder on my phone or in a PC file explorer. Also, apps to recover blocked/restricted files didn't work. This app is unreliable; I understand it works for many, but if you want something less faulty use something like Dolby On (it's free). I'm never using this app again.
This app is to recording what Audacity is to editing. It is complete. Its sound product is outstanding. Recording can be done from an external, Bluetooth, or built-in on the device. Files are saved in common formats. There are no proprietary files to export. Activate location, and it will save the most precise geographic info available. I may have subscribed twice, but it is worth the investment. I am a musician and sample collector. It records what I hear as I hear it.
