Great concept- BUT, this is one of the worst solitaire games available. The levels do not shuffle, you have to play the same deals over and over until it gives you the winning deal, sometimes dozens of tries later. There are only 5 lives available, which is completely useless because of the way the app deals the same plays recurringly. There is also repeated cards, for example on one level I had *seven* 3's and *two* J's, which makes the levels un-passable. FiveBN absolutely FAILED this one.
completely luck based game play. some levels are impossible to beat or impossible to get 3 stars on, the deck randomizes every attempt even on the same level, they just want you to buy gems to even stand a chance and getting 3 stars. a good adventure level based tri peaks game should have each level as a predetermined set up i.e the cards stay the same, the fact it randomizes every attempt means it's completely luck based
The 1-star rating is because the levels are preset (no real shuffle) in order to control the outcome in favor of FIVE-BN. I didn't notice it affecting game play until LEVEL 10. After several dozen attempts and seeing the same exact card order in 2-3 different presets, I did finally defeat level 10 (1 star), but if you ran out of gems early, like I mistakenly did, you will have to pay $$$. Shame too, because I love all of the other FIVE-BN games :-(
Very ambitious story line for a tri peak solitaire game, but I'm not complaining. The gameplay is great, background music is nice and sound effects perfect. Also - no ads. Love it.
