COMO USAR O APLICATIVO E O LEITOR COM O MESMO SENSOR
Os alarmes só podem ser emitidos no leitor FreeStyle Libre 2 ou no celular (não em ambos). Para receber alarmes no celular, inicie o sensor com o aplicativo. Para receber alarmes no leitor FreeStyle Libre 2, inicie o sensor com o leitor. Depois que o sensor for iniciado com o leitor, você também pode fazer a varredura desse sensor com seu celular.
Lembre-se de que o aplicativo e o leitor não compartilham dados um com o outro. Para obter informações completas sobre um dispositivo, faça a varredura do sensor a cada 8 horas com o dispositivo em questão; caso contrário, seus relatórios não incluirão todos os dados. It's an usefull app because you don't need to carry another device to take glucose measurements, but the downside is: I can't generate reports. I need to show the results to my doctor and I can't just share, because it says "Sharing options are not currently available in your country". In another words, I lost 2 months of results because I can't generate reports, as I could if I was using the libre device+ pc app.
A serious issue with the app: when you open it to to start a new sensor, it seems more interested in processing the latest legal mumbo-jumbo than actually starting the sensor. Once, I lost a sensor because of start-up errors. The app could be more discreet with a dark mode switch. Especially at night, or in dark places, it's weird to get a phone with a bright white screen and put it in the arm to get a reading.
After two sensors lost, the support put the blame on the android version (16, the last, Samsung S25), what makes no sense. They recommend me to buy a physical reader compatible (I had an older, compatible only with Libre 1). To prevent fights and try to keep my mental health safe, I did it, but what they didn't let me know is that the **** sensor libre 2 have the same behavior of the old fashioned Libre 1 if activated with the physical reader.... No Bluetooth readings, no alarms in real time.
Amazing app and tech, but after last Android update the app crashes every time I try to read the sensor :( not sure if there is something I can do about it and there is no support contact inside the app.
