Ads for the game are deceptive, not representing actual gameplay. Game is a decent city-build into kingdom conflict game with decent PvP and PvE aspects. Regular events will keep your hands full. F2p players can compete, but not at the top levels. Most of the servers have high attrition rates and have to be merged or allow migration to keep an active population. If you are looking for something to eat up your time, this might be the game for you. I would not recommend investing money.
This game has a lot going on in it. You will find yourself looking for what is highlighted or the dot a lot. I believe it's possible to play for free, money will speed up your experience. If you are in a competitive alliance, you can play for free, but you will not go as fast as the others. The game rewards patience, attention to detail, and of course spending. Big spending cannot save you from poor gameplay long-term. Based on King Arthur. Good Story. I do recommend they tone down the $$ grabs.
I had to reduce my rating. This game has a good f2p and p2p balance. The problem is the purchases are deceptive, it will show one thing, move you to another menu and then you won't get what you paid for and customer service won't help, just give boiler plate answers and take your money. P.s I made it to #28 on server without purchases, but couldn't get any further. I made 1 purchase and got ripped off.
Only play this game if you’re willing to spend money. While free play is technically possible, it becomes a waste of time since you can’t realistically win battles without paying. After playing for five years and spending a lot, I stopped paying and my progress completely stalled. I’m disappointed with how pay-to-win the game has become, though I’m glad I finally stopped spending.
