**UPDATE- and now the game doesn't even load anymore. Loads to 61% & stops. I've re-installed it several times & it doesn't matter. This game is terrible now. *UPDATE- 3 months later & still no new levels. guess you're not working that hard to add levels. this used to be my favorite game, but there haven't been new levels added in months. when are you adding new levels?
The tutorial is way too long and infantalizing. 10+ levels in and there's still annoying explanations and forced power-up usage that even a kid wouldn't need. They force you to submit an email to sign up for a G5 account and then ask for more personal info (such as birthday), so I assume selling data is part of how this is free. If you don't go fast enough, you get a bad score, so not for relaxed play at all. Other than that, it's an incredibly average mobile game.
I've been playing this game for a long time. It used to be 5 stars until this latest update where there is no longer a timer. PLEASE, BRING BACK THE TIMER! It's near impossible to get more than one star and to know how close to 2 or 3 stars you are. It seems this game gives you zero room for error now. If I take more than 3 seconds to find the next matching tiles, that's it game over. I feel like it's a tactic to make you spend money on the game to unlock the levels. If something doesn't change, I'll have to uninstall. I don't want to since I'm almost at level 1100 but it's just unrealistic and frustrating to me now more than it is enjoyable and relaxing. Such a shame.
If the items weren't so expensive, I'd love to give it a 5* rating, but I think that the game is designed to lose the higher you go. Which, in turn, forces the player to spend money just to advance. If G5 Games were to change that -- how expensive items are, especially the shuffle item 30 gems for 3..ridiculous! -- I'll gladly change the rating to a 5*. I have YET to notice them having a special with items, just the green bag only.
