The most recent update is complete trash. It gets rid of some of the features that made it fun and bearable to play, like the allotted bulldozer for getting rid of tiles, and a pocket to keep a tile for later. I never, and I mean NEVER, pay for apps, but I paid for ad free on this game back when it was good, and now I would want my money back, as little as it was. Ridiculous. It's not even fun to play anymore, it's just tedious. Edit: the reply is trash too . One star. I've played plenty far
It's great to play offline. Don't bother playing online. Way too many commercials. Edit. 2 March 2025. In response to the developer to the game. I agree ads can be an essential part of the funds for your game. The reason I say there are to many is because when I play offline I can get lost in the gameplay. I play for an hour straight. I work offshore in the maritime field, so I don't have service often. It's jarring to go from that, to getting interrupted multiple times in one level for ads.
I really love this game. It is relaxing, and I often play it in class to focus. However, I've found its much harder to progress through the game without watching ads, particularly in the boat rescue missions, as many tiles are wild cards without water and the boat gets stuck. I feel it would benefit the game to allow us to use tools like the bulldozer and the box without watching ads. Maybe we could spend some of our stars to use the tools instead. Regardless, I enjoy the game alot!
I really like this game. It isolates some of my favorite parts of a couple of board games and makes for some really great gameplay. That said, the ads are way too much. Even if you pay the 5 dollars for the "no ads" version, you still are constantly asked to watch ads for extra or special tiles. Then, you reach a certain point in the game where it's impossible to progress through a level without watching ads for extra tiles. I paid 5 bucks and still need to watch ads to get anywhere.
