Travel to a village lost in time, discover an adorable tribe of peace-loving people and start improving the settlement. Unlike many other farm games, Ancient Village offers a truly unique and immersive experience. Besides growing crops, tending to your very own garden, and gathering the harvest when it's ripe, you'll get to engage in tons of exciting activities that other village games simply don't have. Exploring a lost island to find the last surviving dinosaurs? Traveling to a distant valley in search of cute prehistoric pets? Unlocking portals to other dimensions? You name it! This is not your usual routine: plant a crop, harvest it, stack up on hay for the horses, repeat. Ancient Village is a vibrant and living universe full of amazing stories, charming characters, and heartwarming moments. Even the names of the places you’ll visit speak for themselves: Cozy Valley, Fisherman’s Cove, Ancestors’ Atoll, Mystery Shore. They really make you want to jump straight in and start exploring!
There are also countless adventures and opportunities awaiting you around every corner: each time you unravel a valley in the mist, it gives you a place for growing crops, every time you venture through a cave, you can find a place to mine and harvest resources. The game won't allow me to complete the tasks on left side of screen. Normally it would take you to the location, but now just sits there. When I click to help friends, instead of taking me to their island, it just brings me back to mine. The only task it will allow to work on is clearing trees, grass & mushrooms. And even that is taking me to location that is an unaccessible area of the game. I get the red slashed circle. When you are on your main island the game slows WAY down. Frustrating!!
If you plan on trying Ancient Village 2, which is EXACTLY like this one minus some minor differences, I wouldn't make any in-app purchases until the game is more secure. I paid for premium, nothing changed at all, and Game Insight refused to either apply the premium or refund the payment. Since the second version is in development I can't leave a public warning, so I've left it here in case it can help anyone else.
Looks like it might be an ok game. I only gave it 2 stars because there are not enough tasks to keep it interesting and because it seems to take a lot of experience points to level up. I realize this is a "trade" game but 11k of experience to get to level 9 at (if you're lucky) 20 exp each trade is ridiculous. I will be glad to change my review if the game changes for the better.
Sorry, but I'm uninstalling. Knowing it's a beta version, I can live with periodic shutdowns, etc.... I played this years ago. And really enjoyed it. But this is painfully boring. Since I finished the last quest, which was over a week ago, there has been nothing. All I can do is get on for 5 min., Collect money and sell goods. Can't even buy anything but decorations. I want a game to occupy my time.I am disabled, so I like to occupy my time with games. Thanks anyway. I'm disappointed.
