This game used to be soo ad free but as soon as they moved to asphalt 8. This game feels like it's just an ad simulator now. They literally play ads while you're in a race and if you accidentally click it. Your in the play store and when you come back, you're probably in last place. It just feels less like a game and more like a chashgrab by the developers now since 2022. I've had fun times in this game but now it just... doesn't feel the same with the ads.
this game used to be amazing! I would play it for hours trying to earn enough for the best cars. unfortunately the fell into the money trap with all the ads and credits. that and they still haven't figured out how to move an account from an iPad to an android. is it the worst game? not even close! the graphics are still great, the gameplay is still decent even 8 years later,and the difficulty is still challenging while being manageable. they just seem to have strayed from what made them great.
I've been playing asphalt since the beginning and it's hard to say how disappointed I am that with asphalt 8 you can't actually advance anymore without playing ads. and on top of that just opening up certain parts of the game also triggers ads. it used to be micro transactions for cars and upgrades but you could get by with ftp. not the case anymore. very unfortunate.
I absolutely love all the asphalt games. The maps, models, physics and music are amazing, the only thing that consistently irks me is the lack of customisation (legends has a bit more than 8 but sill a bit restrictive) I would love if the devs could include more customisation with colours, wheels, stance and body kits. 10/10 game overall
