About Sound
The Interton Sound app lets you control your hearing aids directly from your mobile device. You can change programs, make sound adjustments and save them as favorites. The app helps you learn what you can do and how to do it. It can even help you find your hearing aids if you lose them.

Use the Interton Sound app to:
• Adjust volume settings on your hearing aids

After updating the app to version 1.43.0 on a RedMi Note 8 phone, the app could not connect to my (one and only) left hearing aid, despite unistalling, reinstalling, restarting, reseting app & bluetooth settings etc. - even my hearing aid technician in the store could not solve the problem, although she contacted more 'skilled' technicians. The previous version worked just fine. Please resolve the issue! ADDITION: Version 1.43.1 DID NOT solve the issue! PLEASE do something!
The Interton website assumes that those hard of hearing are not interested in technical info. The app mirrors this attitude. The basic functionality is available. But the small things that would take it to above average are missing. It lacks finesse for the more technical minded. Eg I could not yet find a way to stop streaming from my phone to the hearing aids. Or a setting to stream as mono...most YouTube videos are terrible when the ear pieces are working in streaming mode.
Often won't connect with hearing aids, which is really annoying. I bought these aids precisely because I thought it would be so useful to be able to change volume and programs, but am so disappointed. I have put new batteries in, tried rebooting etc., and even uninstalled and re-installed the app., but still they won't connect at times.
My rating is sort of not allways so58 satisfied. Sometimes the left hearing aid does not connect (communicate) with my phone on bluetooth. It is connected and this happen suddenly and then I can not use the app to communicate and hear clearly through the ear piece. This makes it dufficult to hear the person who called me. So then I have to use my phone with blue switced off. The left earpiece works then properly after I have switched off the blue tooth.
