A cute little incremental game filled with horribly aggressive and overpriced microtransactions. $30 for no ads is insane, especially when you're pushing four different season pass upgrades (at a combined total of another $60), a suite of 3 different permanent upgrades (again, none under $10!), an rng event with limited time that just asks you to pay in increasing amounts of premium currency! Like, the game is fine, but the devs seem to WAY overvalue what they have here, to an insulting degree.
Games like this actually disgust me. It's so slow paced that it doesn't feel like a game. It's the equivalent of watching fish eat. Things move, and you watch. The extra ad currency isn’t worth it. Within the 30+ seconds of an ad, you could build up more currency than the ad gives. Also, they have the predatory system of "competitive events" which are dominated by people who dump insane amounts of cash into it. If spenders were separated from free players, it would be a different argument.
No Guilds or anything shared as a "recent update". The game abruptly stops at stage 360. Looking at the leaderboard you can tell players somehow hacked their game to get past it. stage 360 doesnt even give rewards. Currently impossible to obtain the final levels of the final skill in skill tree. No prestige options as someone else mentioned. Ive got the best mothership and one of the best smaller ships and I have made no progress in days. You just stop making money for upgrades and thats it.
An ok entry into the genre, with some newer ideas but ultimately it suffers from being a 'new' game where prices are grossly inflated to try and get more money out of people, while not realizing there are older games on the market that adhere to older pricing standards (5 to 10 bucks for ad free, 30 here), with more features, years of updates, larger communities, more systems, etc.
