To the devs, great game, never change, thank you guys. To whatever MBA, VP, or C-Suite that said we should make our games subscription based to PLAY, unbelievable. You achieved greatness with this app then took it out back and murdered it in cold blood. You couldn't leave good enough alone. At least give an option to just buy the game outright! $5 done. The free version keeps ads, and in-app purchases. Heck keep in-app purchases across the board, it doesn't even matter. Whatever, see ya never...
This game used to be free with in-app purchases. I felt nostalgic and wanted to play and was disgusted by the constant ads and subscription. If the game was free before, it could have stayed free. Or even just ads. Not the limited play time to push subscriptions. If you want to add subscriptions, do it for the new games you develop after you come up with the idea of ad riddled subscriptions. I pay for games I like, but I prefer to pay a one time charge instead of pay for the rest of my life.
JJ is great, and Classic was a wonderful time until a one-time purchase of $100 or a subscription was introduced in order to play any game by the brand. I understand that servers have to stay up, but I don't really care about any of their other games. If this game was given a price, like $5 or maybe even $10, it would keep it ad free and keep the servers running. Hopefully, this gets remedied.
I grew up loving this game and downloaded the game, but really disliked how the modernized it. So, I decided to get the classic version in the hopes of playing the game I knew again; I did not get to. Instead, I was prompted with a subscription instead. I'd much rather pay the 3 dollars to buy the game on an older version on the PS3 than ever pay money for a subscription to play a once free-to-play game. You're one of the biggest mobile companies. You don't need more money.
