Calibration was tricky. The app only works on certain devices. We ended up playing it on my Samsung S22+ and it worked, but the size of the screen was an issue. We had to be closer than the tutorial recommended to get the bands to work properly, and each player didn't have the proper space to perform the moves and not run into each other. Better compatibility is needed; our Amazon Fire tablets and Windows laptops cannot run the app. Overall fun experience, but needs more development.
This is just awful. Having a disappointed child on Christmas morning is not worth this piece of junk. Playing on a phone is impossible as the app cannot seem to recognize the bands when you stand far enough away to capture your full body on screen. Half the time it could not recognize the bands just to start the game even when position them directly in front of the camera with the logo fully visible. Feels like a total rip off.
It took forever and a day trying to line up the wrist band and we just gave up on the feet. This game will take away all of the fun desperately trying to line up the wrist band. The calibration sucks!!! It will take hours of trying to get it lined up just right. By then your arms are so tired that you just close up the box and count it as a lost!! Take my advice, don't waste your time and money!!!
We figured out the key: you've got to have a device that is fast enough. We tried it on our slow tablet and it was too slow to play. Then tried it on fast smartphone and it was fast enough to keep up with our movement. We used Chromecast to TV so it was big enough to see... and voila! broke a sweat and had fun! Another key for us was taking their setup instructions seriously (e.g. lighting, background, clothing with conflicting colors).
