Interesting game. Sometimes the puzzles are super obvious, sometimes they're too obtuse to solve. Goals ignore if you can accomplish them or not - you will get ones you CAN'T complete because there's no available levels. Also, theme packs are lame and definitions often have the answers in them. Packs like "superheroes" include villains and include weird one-offs like Megamind even though the picture is all Marvel. I wouldn't spend money on this, but I play through Play Pass
I have been playing this game through Play Pass for the last few days, I'm about 200 puzzles in and I am really enjoying it. The puzzles range from simple to challenging, and I haven't run into any bugs or issues. There are plenty of coins for buying additional theme packs and hints when one is stuck. My one "complaint", if you could call it that, is the Definition hint often includes the name of the puzzle, giving it away.
I quite enjoyed this simple game of identifying words from 2 pictures. While many of the clues are quite straight-forward, some require more sideways thinking. I also enjoyed filling in various bonus words into a puzzle before solving it, which gives me extra coins. While there are a small number of puzzles where the pictures are a bit off (e.g., a plate of what was clearly steaks was supposed to be ribs, and a picture of some kind of coral was supposed to be a brain), that is a minor quibble.
I really enjoy Pictoword. The photos can throw you if you overthink them sometimes, other times they seem simple but you have to really work it out. Great to keep your mind going. No need to spend money if you take your time and use your hints wisely. I also like that you can get extra coins by checking out short ads or other games. Many levels to play for free.
