Decent game, much faster than the first, easier to play. Stopped playing when I saw the ai cutscenes. They aren't even that long and wouldn't be hard to find an animator for, so I'm pretty upset a game series I like is getting this lazy. Not to mention, the sprites look mismatched when they're facing different directions.
Lame. I made it past the first puzzle but to advance two days later you have to have tech points which you can only buy because the table is covered in smog. Then every time I close the game there is absolutely no progression at all. There is a slight increase in food gathered but they always collectively are in the exact same spot when I open as if the game just completely stops then restarts. This game is a complete money scam. It's a shame because I loved the originals up to 6 which, same.
Feels like a money grab. Everything requires an absurd amount of tech points (or lava stones) which are incredibly slow to get. The only other way is to pay, which I would never do at those prices. Why would I pay in game for some stones when I could buy a whole other mobile game LMAO. I've played many games from this company since virtual families (1). I don't like the way new games are becoming increasingly transactional. Probably will not bother trying out any further releases from them..
I've been a fan of vv for several years. However, with the new updates, the game play is a bit ridiculous? Alot of these crafts are things you would literally never think to combine. I guess if you kept combining things at random eventually you'd get somewhere but its annoying when you have to wait 3 minutes for every wrong combo. Also, it would be nice if once i select the career path, the villagers would automatically work on developing but they won't unless they've passed the untrained stage
