pretty fun but confusing menu. it doesn't let you look up recipes and craft specific things. instead your cooking and crafting happen on an items percentage chance. it's really annoying compared to the pc game. also im mad I cant pet my allies and anything (minor but I like doing that xD) it's definitely "easier" than og elona or elin, so you're not as frustrated leveling up in the beginning quests.
Definitely has a lot of potential but it's incredibly confusing as well. There's so much going on, I don't really know what I'm doing or what I should be doing. Nevertheless, I've been having fun since there's so much to do: adventuring, flirting, farming, drinking, monster-catching- heck, you even pay taxes! And even wield a gun! Hilarious! To the devs, please put out a suggestion box in-game because I don't think I can fit all of them in my review here.
I haven't run into any bugs. Gameplay is smooth. but this is the most needlessly tedious game. For example, you can spend an hour feeding your crew before logging out, only to log in on your lunch break the next day to see everyone starving. some mechanics seem to be explained ad nasium, and others remain a mystery. and for some reason, the game taxes you daily, ensuring your time is spent doing needless tasks. final verdict? give it a shot. see if the compromises are worth it.
The game seems to have come a long way since I played a number of months back. I was irritated with the inventory limit and the fact that it didn't store my character at that time. Now, the new character I had re-made then has been saved and I can continue my progress, and the inventory space is a lot more reasonable than I remember it being. I'm having a lot of fun this time. Just wish armor showed up on my character. Can't see when the game was last updated, but I hope it's still maintained.
